I Still Love You Britney, bitch.

I saw Britney Spears’ latest show Femme Fatale recently and although she mimed, she hardly danced and she had very little interaction with the crowd (apart from the scripted stuff) the show was ok…not the worst show I’ve ever seen but certainly not the best either. I can’t help but wonder exactly what has happened to her and why. She is not the dancer she used to be – she was never someone you go to see to hear sing, so you expect her to mime.Madonna, Gaga etc dance & sing live. But the dance moves Britney was doing were….well…awful. Choreographer Brian Freidman apparently quit the tour before it went out on the road, but who replaced him? The show concept was ok, if not a little dull, the interludes went on for too long & weren’t interesting enough. I saw the show twice – I pre-booked the Manchester show and won tickets thru Live Nation for the Wembley show. This is a hard blog to write, because I honestly enjoyed the show, but feel that Britney has so much more to offer as a performer. Or is she just lazy? I feel quite protective over Britney and I want her to be a better performer, I want whatever is making her lazy/complacent/settling for 2nd/3rd best to GO AWAY!! The audience at Wembley & Manchester were CRAZY for her!! She needs to feel the love from her fans & channel it into a better performance!! Poor Britney ❤
